Jennifer Rath is the owner/operator of The Yak Ranch, located in Alberta, Canada. The Yak
Ranch consists of 450 acres in northern Alberta where Jennifer runs 200 heads of yaks for pets,
breeding stock, and meat purposes. The Yak Ranch was established in 2015 and is now
Canadas largest herd of registered yaks, specializing in purebred golden yaks, white yaks and
woolly yaks. Jennifer has been a member of IYAK since 2016 and is always striving to be a
good advocate for the yak industry. Jennifers hobbies include training her yaks for packing and
riding as well as attending expos and events to spread awareness of the fast-growing yak
industry.
