The focus of this group is to develop resources to assist NAYAK producers market their yak meat. Results from meat analyses are available, including a 2019 nutritional analysis of grass-fed yak.
Yak meat has so many qualities that make it a superior red meat option for consumers, yet many factors play a role in quality and consistency of yak meat products. We strive to document and educate producers on best practices to obtain a strong and reliable place in the market.
