Hello, I am Kat Tylee a.k.a. Little Hawk. I own Little Hawk Yarns, LLC. I am a spinner, knitter, crocheter, and all-around fiber geek.  I love to spend time exploring fiber techniques, and getting the next group of people, young and old, hooked on their own fiber journey.

Besides working in fiber arts, I have been an aircraft mechanic for many years and now enjoy putting those mechanical skills to work assembling spinning wheels and performing maintenance on various fiber equipment. I started my fiber adventures in 4-H with macrame projects for reins for my horse. In college I learned to crochet from my best friend, started spinning after I bought a spinning wheel on a whim, and then had to learn to knit to know my handspun yarn better. The fiber journey has continued on to yak fiber studies, fiber judging, and teaching.
